PRIVACY POLICY

1. Data Owner

Riva del Garda Fierecongressi S.p.A., whose premises are situated in Riva del Garda (TN), at Parco Lido (“Data Owner”) undertakes to respect the laws pertaining to the protection of personal data by providing the following information regarding the handling of data collected or gathered during navigation of this website. 


2. Data processed, purposes and legal base of processing

Data generated by accessing the website  

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this site acquire certain personal data during their normal operation, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. This data, (such as domain names, IP addresses, operating system used, type of browser device used for connection), are not accompanied by any additional personal information and are used to obtain anonymous statistical information regarding use of the website, to manage control requirements for its use and to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes. The legal basis that legitimises the processing of such data is the need to make the functionality of the site usable as a result of user access.

Data provided voluntarily by the user

The personal data provided by the user when completing the form are gathered and processed for the following purposes:  

a. for carrying out the activities related to the rapport with the interested party (for example, giving feedback to information requests, acquiring preliminary information aimed at defining a contractual relationship, preparing commercial offers, etc.);

b. for administrative purposes and to fulfil activities strictly connected and instrumental to the management of relations with the interested parties and for the fulfilment of legal obligations such as accounting, tax, or to comply with the requirements of the judicial authority;

c. in the presence of specific consent, for the periodic sending, by e-mail, of newsletters and advertising material;

d. in the presence of specific consent, to send updates about our activity; 

e. in the presence of specific consent, to send promotional messages and invitations to events or special promotions;  

f. in the event of the sending of a curriculum vitae, exclusively for the purposes of staff selection.


The legal basis for processing is the undersigning of a contract of which the data subject is a party, or the execution of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the latter. In the cases expressly indicated (points c., d & e), the legal basis is the consent freely given by the interested party. Specific information may be presented on the pages of the Website in relation to specific services or for the processing of data provided by the interested party.

3. Nature of the conferment

Apart from that specified for navigation data, the provision of data:

  • with regard to the purposes outlined in a., b. and f., is optional, but refusal to comply may make it impossible for the Data Owner to complete the contractual obligations undertaken;

  • with regard to the purposes outlined in c, d and e is also optional, and the use of data is governed by the provision of specific consent. Refusal to provide such data will make it impossible for the Data Owner to send newsletters and other advertising material or to send invitations to events and initiatives.


4. Processing methods and data retention times

The collected data will be processed using electronic or automated means, computerised and telematic, or through manual processing that is strictly related to the purposes for which the personal data was collected and, in any case, in such a way as to guarantee the security of the same.

In any case, the Data Owner adopts rules that prevent the retention of data indefinitely and therefore limits the storage time in compliance with the principle of minimisation of data processing.


5. Subjects authorised to process, managers and data communication 

The processing of collected data is carried out by personnel authorised for data processing according to specific instructions given in compliance with current legislation. The data collected, if necessary or instrumental for the execution of the indicated purposes, may be processed by third parties appointed as data controllers, or, depending on the case, communicated to the same as independent owners, and more specifically:

  • persons, companies, associations or professional offices that carry out auxiliary services or consultancy for our company, for the purposes outlined in point 2; 

  • companies, bodies and associations which carry out services connected and instrumental to the execution of the purposes indicated above, (such as maintenance of the information systems). 

The data collected will not be transferred outside of the EU. 


6. Rights of the interested party

At any time, it is possible to access the data, oppose the processing or request the cancellation, modification or updating of all personal information collected by the Data Owner, exercising the right to limit the processing and the right to data portability, by sending an e-mail to privacy@rivafc.it.
