Real estate revitalization project

The goal of the revitalization project for the Riva del Garda Exhibition Center, located in Baltera, is to provide a modern and innovative venue for national and international events, while simultaneously promoting the tourism and economic development of the region. This plan involves the creation of new spaces and the regeneration of existing ones, within a comprehensive vision aimed at enhancing not only the exhibition area but also the urban context in which it is located, thus contributing to strengthening the entire territorial system.

Riva del Garda Exhibition Center: A History of Innovation and Growth

Originally an industrial and later an artisanal area, Baltera was transformed in 1996 into the main exhibition and conference center of Trentino, thanks to the construction of the Exhibition Center by Garda Trentino Fiere. At the end of the works, the exhibition area (acquired by Patrimonio del Trentino) was 49,100 square meters. Strategically located near the historic center of Riva del Garda and easily accessible from the highway, the Exhibition Center became a true point of reference for national and international events.

Over the years, the exhibition complex has undergone significant developments. Among the steps, the acquisition of the "ex-SICOM" area, which led to the inauguration of the multifunctional Hangar D during the summer edition of Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags. In 2018, the Public-Private Partnership Agreement signed between the Autonomous Province of Trento, represented by its subsidiary Patrimonio del Trentino, and Riva del Garda Fierecongressi laid the foundation for the development project with the planning of the expansion of the structures. In parallel, in 2023 Patrimonio del Trentino started the works for the construction of a multi-storey car park, completed in 2024, and the new pavilion G, located in the western part of the Center itself.

The resources invested by Riva del Garda Fierecongressi amount to 30 million euros, for an expansion of 10,500 square meters: the goal is to bring the exhibition area to 67,000 square meters, creating a complex of interconnected structures capable  of hosting multiple events simultaneously, with a new parking area and differentiated accesses aimed at facilitating logistics management and public flows.
