Changing clients’ needs have meant that the sales of event space have also undergone a significant change, shifting the focus more towards providing project consultancy.

The innovation process starts from the concept of reviewing every situation and never taking the customer's needs for granted, developing a completely tailor-made project. Re-thinking the classic trade fair format and services and drawing on the experience of hosting events, the ability to become a 360° promoter and conference organiser emerges, going beyond the concept of being just a service provider and taking on the role of a partner with whom to reach a common goal.

Over the past ten years, Riva del Garda Fierecongressi has carried out various innovative projects in terms of type and content. Among these is a transversal project between the business units of the company that has made it possible to draw from traditional experiences, new ideas and positive influences: the REbuild exhibition-conference is an event about building redevelopment, and combines the organisational capacity typical of the congress area with the commercial and planning skills of the exhibition team.

The experience of intercepting opportunities is another fundamental characteristic of the company. The collaboration with expert partners in the field of congresses and digital marketing has given rise to a completely innovative project in the field of communication and the marketing of associative events: Digital Meeting Marketing, a real consultancy service for promoters of conferences and congresses that has made Riva del Garda the reference point for this new way of communicating online during association events.

Constant, widespread local marketing activity has been at the core of the initiatives of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi as a service hub for the MICE sector. For decades, the company has acted as a Convention Bureau, supporting the organisers of conferences and incentive trips, providing services and offers aimed at this specific target market. This activity has given impetus to the creation of the Riva del Garda MICE Product Club and the Trentino MICE Convention Bureau, in collaboration with Garda Trentino and Trentino Marketing.
